I would propose an option to show the last keypress or key-combination as a caption. It would be very useful for creating small tutorial clips of applications which use lots of keyboard shortcuts.
It should be possible to also recognize when the same key was pressed multiple times. For example by showing the caption in a certain color for a few frames after the keypress happened and then switching to a different color. It could also make sense to optionally show a history of the last few keypresses.
